I will be staying with friends this weekend at the Beacon on Broadway and 75th Street. Last year we ate at Ouest and Cesca following recommendations I received here. We are trying to eat in less expensive places this year, so I am looking for suggestions for midrange restaurants, possibly ethnic, in the neighborhood for our first night. Thanks for all suggestions.
More upscale than pizza and burgers, less expensive than the two places I mentioned, where main courses run in the high twenties and thirties. No exact price in mind, I will look at the menu of places people here may suggest and submit to the group for approval.
Can't wait to try that, Nikki. We stay at the Beacon often enough and hardly ever eat near there except for the Shake Shack for burgers and shakes and the little 'diner/coffe shop' adjacent to the hotel. The recommendations legal travel to cuba on this thread are really great.
