According to the live updates from Barcelona, Tahiri was on a constant slide down the chip counts and it was no real surprise when he Khun sent him to the rail. Once more, the chips went in before any community cards were in play. Tahiri was narrowly in front with his Ah-6s but the hot-running Khun was not out of the running. Antono Alfaiai rental car ireland laddered up the payout table extremely well but Khun dashed any hopes of an epic comeback-to-win story, again. Alfaiai had doubled up three times but on his fourth attempt his 9h-9c came a cropper when Khun made a pair of aces on the river with his Ad-5h.
The final hand of the tournament saw Khun claim his fifth casualty of the night, Frenchman Benjamin Pollak being that man. Khun opened, Pollak three-bet all in and Khun called. Pollak, who reached the final table of WPT Prague last season, turned over Kd-7d and was against the pocket eights of Khun. The Ad-9d-9s flop gave Pollak outs to flush draw, but the Js turn kept Khun in front. Pollak could hit a diamond, jack, king or ace on the river to win, but the final card was the 7c and Khun’s victory was completed.
