In all my travels over the years, I’ve visited alaskan cruise packages some really awesome and interesting hotels. But, just a few weeks ago, we opened a hotel that takes interesting and unique to new heights…literally. On March 29, we opened the doors to The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong – the highest hotel in the world. It’s situated at the top of Hong Kong’s tallest building, the International Commerce Centre in Kowloon. The hotel occupies floors 102-118 with each guest room boasting a spectacular view of the harbor or Hong Kong Island.
Everything about this hotel is fantastic and state of the art – even the elevators! They travel at a rate of 9 meters per second, or 20 miles per hour, so it only takes 52 seconds to get from the ground level to floor 102. There are 312 guest rooms and 80 suites, all of which offer telescopes so guests can enjoy the view. Guests have 6 different dining outlets to choose from and can relax in a state of the art spa on the 116th floor. The hotel also features the highest swimming pool in the world, an infinity alaskan cruise packages pool on the 118th floor that has LED screens covering the entire alaskan cruise packages ceiling. And, level 118 is home to the world’s highest Jacuzzi and the world’s highest bar called Ozone, as well. I haven’t made it out to this brand new hotel yet, but the photos I’ve seen are fantastic. However, I did go to the top last year when I was in Hong Kong. It was under construction then, but I got to see the view and the layout of the space, and it is incredible. As I was chatting to your Manager at the Ritz Carlton Penha Longa in Portugal last week, he spoke to me highly enthusiastically about the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong - he was one of the privileged (highly talented) few to be invited to go and train the team there. The very best from all of the Marriott brands have been incorported in that hotel, he explained - his eyes alight! Staying there is now firmly on my list of lifetime obligations!!
Greetings from Hong Kong. It s a great hotel and I was there on its 3rd day of opening to see it and experience the service.
