Rhett Miller returns to City Winery behind the release of his latest stripped-down solo album, an acoustic version of 2012 s The Dreamer . The sixth disc he s recorded on his own, Miller s also the frontman and main songwriter for the Old 97 s, who re considered the pioneers of the alt-country-rock movement of the 90s. The band s also landed tunes on a bunch of movie and TV soundtracks, including Veronica Mars and the Jennifer Aniston/Vince Vaughn 2006 romantic comedy The Break-Up.
