If you're looking for a cheap deal to Las Vegas, now is the time to become a fan of the Sahara Hotel Casino on Facebook and Twitter. The Las Vegas hotel is hosting Twitter and Facebook only specials exclusive to followers throughout the summer.
The Sahara has been a permanent fixture in Las Vegas since the 1950s and offers extended stay hotels phoenix arizona 1,720 classically styled guestrooms and Las Vegas suites decorated in a Moroccan motif. Sahara hosts the popular extended stay hotels phoenix arizona $1 blackjack extended stay hotels phoenix arizona tables and Dollar Days, which includes extended stay hotels phoenix arizona $1 beers, $1 hot dogs, $1 shots (in a free souvenir glass). Room rates range from $27 to $300 depending on the time of year you visit and the room type you book, but it's hard to beat a $1 room rate in Sin City.
The Sahara Hotel is a piece of crap. I wouldn't stay there again for $1.00. I wouldnt put a homeless person in that hotel. We stayed there last May and we got a no smoking room. that didnt help. We were in between 2 smoking floors, the lamps were broke, there was either ketchup or dried blood on the curtains, our beautiful view was of the roof. The carpet was missing extended stay hotels phoenix arizona pieces out of it, and was so dirty that I wouldnt even let my dogs lie on it. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable that it would have been better sleeping on the floor only if I knew it was clean. My husband was sick the whole time we were there, I lost my voice because of the smoke and I smoke. I will never stay there again and would not recommend anyone to stay there. Your an idiot...your complaining becuase you requested a non-smoking room and you smoke yourself?!? What is the beig deal. Did you forget you were going to Las Vegas? Everybody extended stay hotels phoenix arizona in those casinos extended stay hotels phoenix arizona smoke...and did you ever try cracking a window if it was such a big deal? and i sincerely hope that was dried ketchup on the curtains and not just the previous guests "time of the month". Besides you always have the option of changing rooms which i have done at the Sahara and got uprgrdaed to a much better room, sometimes a suite! JudyW May 6th 2010 11:25AM
No need to be rude, the hotel is old. How do you expect them to be able to up-grade and renovate if they do not have customers? The dollar a night sounds like a great marketing strategy to get people in. I hope they get a lot of traffic in and are able to begin renovating the only last treasure of Las Vegas. The Sahara is one of the very few main strip hotels that has not been demolished completely and a new structure built in its place. It would be such a treat to see the Sahara survive and keep its old charm. Caesars is one of the few that has maintained its self and still grown without demolition - let us only hope that the ownership stops eliminating some of the historic parts and keeps the original casino pit off the main entry and Cleopatra's barge. Unfortunately they got rid of the Bacchanal and other historical parts of Caesars that others will never be able to see and enjoy. So I do hope the Sahara survives and is able to be renovated and keeps the original Las Vegas charm in its rooms, casino floor, restaurants, bars and grounds. Reply Vegas Vinnue May 6th 2010 11:13AM
Hey Tina ...don't hold back. I find your experience a bit unusual. extended stay hotels phoenix arizona No wait, I find it very unusual. Las Vegas is a great place and it is hard to find a really bad hotel on the strip. As for your floor being between 2 smoking floors. HELLO ...DO YOU LIVE ON A FREAKIN' ISLAND???? what do you want. I would have put you between two smoking rooms ...with extended stay hotels phoenix arizona a hole in the wall. Suck It Up! Reply Tina Oct 25th 2010 9:13AM
You are the idiot. I used to live in Las Vegas. I know all about the smoking. The hotel manager refused to upgrade us. My husband is the one that doesn't smoke and because extended stay hotels phoenix arizona I respect most non smokers we requested the non smoking room. Unless you know the whole story, you shouldn't extended stay hotels phoenix arizona go shooting your mouth off like the idiot that you are. You might have had a good stay, but my experience was not worth going back to that hotel for regardless of the cost. Reply Gray May 6th 2010 12:58PM
You should extended stay hotels phoenix arizona all be ashamed of yourselves for going to Las Vegas at all. Don't you know that it is a very sinful city? You will all probably suffer eternal hellfire and brimstone. Reply vegasman101 May 6th 2010 1:45PM
I recently extended stay hotels phoenix arizona went back to Vegas. I used to live there, and would love t move back someday. I remember when the Sahra Hotel was one of the top destinations in Vegas. Sinatra, Elvis, and most other top entertainers would fight for a spot at the Sahara. That is why I made my reservations there and was very disappointed in what I saw. The current management has not kept up this iconic hotel at all, and I for one will never stay there again. I travel to Vegas at least once a year for vacation and this place is definitely off my list. It has nothing to do with age, other older hotels on the strip and downtown extended stay hotels phoenix arizona have taken renovation seriously for their properties and should if they wish to compete with the newer, larger casinos. I just hope it isn't too late to fix this one. Reply jonson21 Jul 13th 2010 3:47AM
