Brought back some happy memories for me with this! Have done 3 or 4 road trips in Florida, and always been fascinating. There is, as so often with places which attract lots of publicity, so much more to see and do than you think there is, history, great food and natural environment, reno casino hotels and the roads are so easy to drive is you re a tourist, probably the most problem-free driving I ve ever done. I agree Linda, I wish I had had more time to see more off the beaten track gems. Unfortunately time was limited, but I would love to go back one day and do it over, but during a longer period. Would also love to do a road trip from the East to the West Coast, now there is a road trip! Not sure about the States, but, in Europe, I reckon the Renault Scenic is THE road tripping car, especially if you have a family.
