trip report well we arrived ok and check in went pretty smooth. went straight to the buffet and ate. i cannot say enough about the quality of the food. it wa great. royal carribean cruise ships i went to a 5 star resort 2 years ago and this food did qualify. as for the workers they were amazing. they never stop. we stayed at the sexy pool most of the time and it was fun. we met some great people.
royal carribean cruise ships ON ONE OCCASION I LEFT PATIOS TO GO TO THE BATHROOM AND A GETTO RAT STRAIGHT OFF THE STREETS SAT DOWN BY HER AND STARTED TALKING TO HER. NO BIG DEAL DUE TO HIM NOT KNOWING SHE WAS TAKEN. THE PROBLEM IS SHE SAID MY HUSBAND IS COMING FROM THE BATHROOM AND THIS PICE OF SHIT SAID WE CAN STILL GO TO MY ROOM. IF WE HAD BEEN IN THE USA HE WOULD BE MISSING HIS FUCKING TEETH. I GUESS YOU CAN FIND SHIT HEADS ANYWHERE.
Sorry those issues made for such a bad first experience at TTR . We are having the same hesitations, but I am hoping that we will meet lots of people on this forum, that will be there at the same time, so we can watch out for each other. Please do not take this the wrong way. Your wife needs to learn how to tell people to go away. On our last trip, our 8th, I saw a guy walk up to my wife who was in a large group of friends. royal carribean cruise ships He asked where she was from. Her response was It doesn't matter, please go away. He turned around and walked away, who wouldn't? Early on we had some of the problems you had and we discussed it. I explained to her, from a drunk guys perspective, that anything short of F off is an invitation to stick around. She has figured that out well and neither of us have to deal with it any longer. A bonus when the wife deals with it is that I no longer have to have arguments with people who have overstepped their bounds. The guys don't argue with her as she isn't a threat to their machismo. It has been my experience that when I tell someone to go away they get mad at me. hav n fun I've been going to this place for many yrs now, Im a single guy and never had any problems, its a shame some single guys can ruin it for all of us, some guys just cant handle there booz, but this place is a lot of fun for both singles royal carribean cruise ships and couples, i've probably been here over 20 times and always had a great time, see everyone for Halloween and new yrs
we were there the same time as you and I totally disagree... I know I'm not as hot as your wife but I felt comfortable everywhere. You know we were all there for each other!

The nicest people we have met there have been the single guys, so don't let a few bad eggs ruin the batch. I've done 2 trips now SOLO, and I haven't encountered any significant trouble with the single guys. That's due in large part to the protective presence of my male CCC friends (both single and married), but I agree with some of the previous royal carribean cruise ships posts that you can't be nice to the questionable single guys and let them get a foot in the door . I don't make eye contact with them when they try to sidle up to me. I promptly move away from them. The only time I had a real problem was on lingerie night, when I ended up alone in the unisex area of Paty-O's bathroom with a drunk who decided he wanted summa dat. He was far drunker than I was, so it wasn't difficult to get away from him. But that was the last time I went off by myself late at night.
There was a thread here a few months ago about vulnerable areas at the resort for women, and the Paty-O's bathroom is the worst spot. Men, always escort royal carribean cruise ships your ladies to the restroom in the evening. Women should be escorted back to their rooms at night, married royal carribean cruise ships or single.
YES, you shouldn't have to take these kind of precautions on your holiday. BUT, there are drunks and predators at every resort. Perhaps it is a bigger problem at TTR because these wankers royal carribean cruise ships see women walking around topless all day, and wearing teeny dresses at night, and in their drunken stupor, they forget where the line is drawn.

Really sorry you had problems at night in the bar. Paty O's is essentially an in-resort royal carribean cruise ships nightclub, and where I come from that is typical behaviour at a nightclub. That's not to everyone's taste, so maybe a more couple-orientated or family resort that has an adult-only bar option would be a better suit?
The one night I decided to stay drinking alone at Paty O with a female companion when my husband went to bed (think it was around 3am), within 10 minutes we were accosted by two drunk Swedish 20-somethings who would not take no for an answer. I opted to leave the bar than to deal with it. This led to a bit of drama because my sister-in-law invited me up to her room to get away from it, and I stupidly forgot to go back to my room first and let my husband know where I was. D'oh! He panicked when he came out to check on me, thinking I'd gone off-resort when he couldn't find me. Lesson learnt - always make sure your significant other or friends know where you are!
Totally agree with being firm. I'm far too polite. I struggle on when a guy doesn't get the message, when I should just tell them to f' off and be done with it! I think they should have a sign or pin women can wear that means 'I'm unavailable and NOBODY apart from my significant other has a chance in hell of scoring with me'. Ok, I have not been to Temptations in a few years. If these things are true then the quality of guests has really gone down. I don't like to have to worry about my wife when I go on a beach vacation. If she doesn't want to talk to someone royal carribean cruise ships she tells them that and I think most people are smart enough even when they are drunk not to push it. We have been going to Desire quite a bit for the last years and that place is so safe the women can pretty much walk around anytime. I also like it because it is not as crowded as Temptations royal carribean cruise ships . But I have had some great times at Temptations and hope this trip in Sept is the same.
There have been countless number of times that guys have hit or spoken to my wife with me there or gone. She decides who and when she wants to talk. She might be flattered royal carribean cruise ships by some men that talk to her and makes her feel good. She may carry on the conversation. We have met a lot of great folks this way. Others, not so much and 99% of the time she can tell them she doesn't want to talk to them.

Just a furthur note: We have been to Temptations about 10 times, not counting, and have never experienced any rude single guys. The one instance was at one of our group outings with the May group where a guy tried to pull Kristy into a bathroom but someone saw it and stopped him. He was not with the group and we supposedly had the whole place to ourselves.
Ultimately it comes down to common sense. Most of the single guys, like me, are friendly, respectful and courteous. Are there idiot/assclowns etc. out there who make the rest of us look bad? Sure there are!
