Now you’re probably saying, “Suzi, Get to the cars already!” Well, let me tell you, I’ve never seen

I had the best time last weekend and I had to share it with you! I went to my first Hot Rod Power Tour event in Muskegon, MI. For those of you who don't know what the Hot Rod Power Tour is, here's a little history.
The Hot Rod Power Tour is an organized tour where hot rodders drive a pre-planned route lasting seven days throughout the good ol' USA. The event began seventeen years ago when Hot Rod Magazine staff members decided to take their project cars on a drive from Los Angeles, CA to Norwalk, OH. This year the tour featured over 3,200 cars with and additional 840 participants residing in Western Michigan. Muskegon was Day 2 of the tour and featured cars from the early 30s to today. tampa rental cars Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Dragsters, Street Rods, Custom Trucks and some works-in-progress were all at the show.
As I was driving into Muskegon the day before, I saw a quiet lakeside downtown filled with historical homes, warehouses and manufacturing plants.  You wouldn't have expected the streets to be filled with 50,000 people the very next day.  The next morning I helped set up the MAHLE Clevite Booth with a few of my good friends from the Ann Arbor office, Bill McKnight, Team Leader-Training and Tod Richards Don Lent in Piston tampa rental cars Ring Product Development. They even brought a replica cardboard cut-out of me so spectators could check out Under The Hood!
Tod brought along his 1974 Oldsmobile Cutlass which he races at the Milan Dragway. Our booth was filled tampa rental cars with people asking Tod questions about his car and talking to Bill about Clevite and MAHLE Original products. It was also a family of affair with children and toddlers taking away plenty of decals with them and even a piston ring or two!
Now you're probably tampa rental cars saying, "Suzi, Get to the cars already!" Well, let me tell you, I've never seen so many beautiful cars and horsepower in one area my entire life! This was a show I won't forget. Street after street was lined with vintage and new Corvettes, to Mustangs, Bel Airs, to Chevelles, to groovy 70 s vans and even rusty old pick-up trucks. Take a look at a few of the pictures I took from the show. If you want to see the rest, just go to our Facebook page .
Heading home was definitely sad, because I realized how many cars I didn't even get a chance tampa rental cars to see. The line of cars went on two miles outside of downtown and even more were making their way in! After Muskegon, the tour headed to Champaign, IL, Madison, IL, Miami, OK and Stillwater, OK. They're concluding the tour in Arlington, TX today at the Quik Trip Park if you live down south.
