Had a wonderful family reunion at a Life of Rilee. Our elderly parents appreciated the elevator and the wonderful breezes on the covered deck. The young adults loved the pool, hot tub and pool table, as well as the privacy of several different levels.
Having 2 master suites was a delight. The gourmet kitchen was fun to cook in. Two dishwashers was a real luxury and the large dining room table accommodated our large group. My eldest son and his wife got engaged at Emerald Isle, and we celebrated their first anniversary in this great house.
The only problem we had was not with the house, but the boardwalk beach access. There seems to be a step or two missing when you get on the walkway. Our elderly travel and tourism parents could not maneuver the walkway and had to be lifted up and down from the boardwalk.
We have been coming to Emerald Isle since 2004. A Life of Rilee offered our family everything that was necessary in order to have a great experience. The beds were the best...we slept as well as we do at home. Not only did it offer a pool and hot tub, but also a play area (3 additional outside games) for our little guys. We will be coming back next year.
Great cottage with a view of both the ocean and the sound. Elevator and reverse floor plane made this house a dream house for my family, including my 89 year old Dad. Service was fast, effective, and courteous. The staff was sincerely interested in our well-being. Beach access was close and easy. 2nd floor family area is great for families with children. A bathroom with each bedroom is a big plus. We'll rent this place again!

The house was gorgeous inside and out. We loved having the pool and being so close to the beach access. Having all the bedrooms and bathrooms was wonderful. The two dishwashers and the icemaker in the kitchen was icing on the cake. It was so nice at night to be able to sit everyone down for a meal at the same table and be able to move comfortably around it!! We had a few glitches such as a leak under the sink from the water filter system. travel and tourism The plumbers came right out and fixed what they could but we were without the filter system for most of the week due to the type of system it was. The plumbers were great and it was not their fault. The only other thing I wish they had at the house was a vacuum for the pool so my son could vacumm it every day. We are used to that and we really like to have it done that way. Something to think about. Over all it is a great house and we are renting it again next year!! Oh, having an elevator was wonderful!!
Emerald Isle Realty does have a 7 day a week pool service which is why equipment such as a vacuum isn't provided at any of our properties. Each pool we maintain is cleaned twice a week. We will provide additional service of the pool if needed and we're happy to provide travel and tourism you with a skimmer, at your request.
