Wanda hotel London will be located at a 'prime location' on the South Bank, near to the Palace of Westminster and Battersea Power Station. The project will have a construction size of 105,000 sq.m, approximately 20,000 of which will be used for the Wanda hotel. The opening date has not yet been confirmed.
The Dalian Wanda Group was founded in 1988 and operates in four major industries, including commercial properties, texas travel guides luxury hotels, culture tourism, and department store chain. Wanda are planning doing a luxury hotel in district which is not luxury, or tourism targeted. Yeah Nine Elms would probably transform to home bed , increasing in tube stations. But how many people from Rolls Royce would like to travel by tube? How many of them would walk to the city, instead of riding car? They would have to travel by auto or cab, saying bad words about it, because there are not enough parking spaces(for the 100 years nobody build reasonable free public parking garage in the city - and business moved out from London, especially city). Probably the only people who will use this hotel will be that, who will get big discounts(e.g. 50% or more of usual luxury hotel price)...
