Dial an Exchange , one of the biggest timeshare exchange alternatives to the BIG TWO (Interval and RCI), has an interesting thing going on. They re holding Vacation Education Seminars for timeshare owners, no strings attached, best cruise line for family travel nothing for sale, just an opportunity for timeshare best cruise line for family travel owners to learn how to get the best out of their ownership. Each seminar is about 2 hours long, with a lengthy Q A session for attendees and a gift for them at the end of it. So far they ve been a big hit.
DAE’s third Vacation Ownership Seminar is scheduled for January 28 at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center at the Florida Mall near downtown Orlando. Speakers will include Jason Tremblay , founder of SellMyTimeshareNOW.com; Ed Hastry of the National Timeshare Owners Association; and Lisa Ann Schreier , author of “Timeshare best cruise line for family travel Vacations For Dummies” and founder of Timeshare Insights.
Beginning March 21, only points purchased directly through Disney best cruise line for family travel Vacation best cruise line for family travel Club sales agents will be eligible for use toward the full Monty of DVC benefits. Resale point purchases which close after March 20 will be valid only for use at the 11 Disney Vacation Club resorts as well as the World Passport Collection which features trading opportunities through RCI and the Buena Vista Trading Company. Resale purchasers will have no access to special Member benefits programs offered by Disney Vacation Development, Inc., like the Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, the Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier in Anaheim, Disney s Polynesian and Grand Floridian resorts at Walt Disney World, international hotels at Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland and more.
Resale values for DVC were always pretty strong, relatively speaking, though they ve been falling fairly consistently since the economy decayed into its present state of rottingfishitude. I don t imagine this will be helpful in that regard.

Disney was taking back a lot of points on a right of first refusal but lately that s slowed way down. It s a problem for them and it s a problem for resellers because Disney basically sells RTU with a 50 year lease so that means they re stuck with inventory that has a lot of different expiration dates, which lessens the resale value the less time that s left on the contract. This new move by Disney isn t going to make members trying to sell very happy. The whole resale business is really a more complicated than it should be if developers had taken the initiative early on and set up an interior system for it. They re the ones responsible for the mess, the question is how to fix it???
