JULY 8TH 21ST, 2015 July 8th (Wednesday): Fly Day ONLY into Anchorage, Alaska!! Hotel accommodations at the Quality Suites or similar hotel for 3 nights! Continental Breakfast included. Local tour guide will be at the airport to greet the Tater Tots as they arrive and will provide transportation to our hotel.) Suggestion: For those people traveling from the East Coast, you might want to fly into Seattle and stay overnight to get acclimated to the time change and then fly next day into Anchorage. (Makes for an awful long day to try and fly to Anchorage in one day.)
July 9th (Thursday): Explore Anchorage in the morning on your own. (We have a designated walk (volksmarch) that we will do, starting from the Westmark Hotel at your convenience. We can walk there) In the afternoon, enjoy a 2 hour Anchorage City Tour. (Board deluxe motorcoach to stop at the Ulu Factory, www.theulufactory.com ) with another stop at Ship Creek to possibly see the salmon running. July 13th (Monday): Travel by bus into Denali National Park on the Murie Excursion. July 19th (Sunday) : Exit Glacier Tour, one hour ranger led tour. Stop at the Ranger Station to view exhibits and information while listening to rangers provide interpretive programs and talks about the glacier and the Harding Ice field. Return to hotel.
