now and I am very pleased with the Hotel. Whether it is Margaret or Jenny checking hotels brighton me in, I am always greeted with a smile and provided with 1st class service. They always bend over backwards to accommodate my requests and really make me feel like a VIP. The hotel was recently renovated so the rooms are modern and very nice (bathrooms are on the small side), beds are very comfortable, the location is great and the service is A+!! Read less
were on tenth floor when the air con was on could not hear a thing from the street as its quite noisy the air con but when switched off it was like trying to sleep on the street but we kept it on so no problems sleeping what so ever
One thing does annoy me prob as being from the uk is the tip culture , every meal had already had 18% tip added to the bill very cheeky in my view that and Americans tip for everything why?. People even tip porters for opening doors and hailing down a cab , people in star bucks for making you a drink absolute madness, a tip should be for exceptional service or quality of product not as a standard, thank god only thing you tip in uk is cabs and meals and its 10% max and most people I know never tip anything Read less

room was bright, clean and tidy, and the hotel itself is in a brilliant location. We walked to the 9/11 memorial from there, as well as the Staten Island ferry, Brooklyn bridge, Times Square, Central Park, the Rockefeller Centre and grand central terminal.
