The Spanish tourism industry should  be sending their representatives to the International Tourism Fair ( Fitur ) in Madrid this week .However hotels in the Spanish capital Madrid , are saying that they only have a 50% occupancy level . The fair spans Wednesday to Sunday .
The President french quarter hotels new orleans of the Madrid Hoteliers Association has said that occupancy levels are way below what they were last year .Five years ago it would have been difficult to find a room during the FITUR tourism fair .
