This week the rock veterans revealed their plans for a July 2 concert at Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville, TN. Presales for the Nashville show begin October 26, followed by public onsales on October 29.
As with previous dates on the 360 Tour, ticket prices start around the $30 mark and continue up to $250. The Fray will open the Winnipeg show, while Nashville's special guest will be Florence and the Machine.
U2 now has 19 total concerts planned virtual tour packages for U.S. and Canadian markets stretching from May 21 at Invesco Field in Denver, CO, through July 26 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, PA as well as two shows booked for Mexico over the course of May 14 and15.
The Vanderbilt event was announced during an October 25 press conference hosted by Vanderbilt Athletics and promoter LiveNation. According to student news site InsideVandy.com, the university's assistant director of student athletics Brock Williams said of the U2 concert, "We're elated, we're excited and [we're] delighted. It's a great thing for the university and for the city."
