Yes, come to Oak Park! Spend your anniversary with me! That would be special! :-) Places to eat in O

Greetings, all. I post here today because E doesn't know about this (or, at least, if he does, he never reads it). Next month is our two year anniversary, and I'm desprately trying cambodia laos vietnam package tours to think of something special to do and I'm really at a loss. The only good idea I've had so far was to go out for sushi, which is great, but we do that on a fairly regular cambodia laos vietnam package tours basis and thus it's not really that special. I've also thought of going to see a play or concert, but we would likely have to do this on a week night (unless it's so fantastic that it's worth missing a night of work). Shows running on M/T nights are still an option, but most theatres don't run those nights... So, I ask you, the teeming masses, if you have any ideas for cool/fun/interesting things to do around Chicago-land. Ideally, it would involve an over-night somewhere, but not be too expensive, as neither one of us is really flush with cash. Any ideas?
I highly recommend the Write Inn in Oak Park. Nice but not downtown Chicago expensive. The best suite in the house is $150. Lots of things to see in the area including Frank Lloyd Wright, some good and not horribly pricey eateries, and not too far from the city if you feel inclined towards a show. I don't know if tickets to Spamalot are still available (I'd check Ticketmaster to see what's showing). I've seen it twice, I sing its praises. And the Chicago Symphony might be an idea, though I don't know what days those run.
Yes, come to Oak Park! Spend your anniversary with me! That would be special! :-) Places to eat in Oak Park: Papaspiro's has amazing Greek food and a good wine list . . . and there's a Flat Top Grill downtown too . . . and Khyber Pass has great Indian (as you well know). Or, consider how y'all met two years ago. Any special details you could include in your two year celebration? Does he have a favorite activity, or preferably, do y'all have a shared favorite activity that you rarely get to do? Camping under the stars is always an option, if he likes camping. Would you be willing to travel elsewhere? There are tons of cute little towns with quaint B&B's around G'burg or in the hinterlands (north) of Chicago. Many restaurants/bars downtown have live music on certain nights. If money is no object (if so, lucky you) then there are the cruises around Lake Michigan cambodia laos vietnam package tours at night. Aaaand . . . I'm spent. :-)
See, the funny thing is, we actually met three and a half years ago, it just took me a year and half for me to get him to notice me ;) Thanks for the suggestion on the Inn. It looks really nice! Definately a possibility. I had sorta abandoned the theatre idea because not much plays early in the week, but then I saw what Chicago Shakes will be running... Hamlet. A play E professes to be his favorite. There's a Tuesday night show that I think we could swing. I made a list of other shows that look interesting cambodia laos vietnam package tours and have Tuesday shows, but I'm so excited about this that I'm really tempted to just buy the tickets and suprise him.
