American Airlines and Virgin America had signed travel map an agreement in which American subleases its two gates at Dallas Love Field to Virgin America. The U.S. Department of Justice, which forced American to give up the gates, has approved the deal. Now, Virgin America just needs Gonzalez’s stamp of approval, per American’s original lease agreement with the city.
