For our recent strategy meeting in New York, the TPG team checked into a variety of hotels around the city. Lifestyle Editor Shayne Benowitz stayed at the Radisson Martinique on Broadway. Here’s her review. Stay tuned for more New York City hotel reviews.
My cab turned onto the bustling, slightly chaotic corner of Broadway and 32 nd St., just west of Macy’s Herald Square airline discount coupons and smack dab in the heart of Koreatown . I didn’t use the WiFi much during my stay. However, the time that I tried to login, even the upgraded WiFi was working rather slowly.
My room, located just off the penthouse’s Club Level lounge, was perfectly serviceable for a business traveler’s needs. There was nothing particularly luxurious or stylish about it, but it was plenty airline discount coupons comfortable as a place to rest your head after a busy day in Manhattan.
A small desk separates the two queen-sized beds, serving airline discount coupons also as nightstand. While there are no real bells and whistles to the hotel, there were also no real disasters. Overall, though, the design motif felt more stale and crusty than an interesting historic gem.

While the perks of the loyalty program are nice, for that price (or just a little more) I’d prefer to find a more stylish hotel in a sexier part of town. But that’s just me.

The timing on this review is great. We re planning an NYC trip for next fall, and a good portion of it hinges on using CC points to stay at this hotel. We ve got enough points for 3 nights, and ought to have enough for another one soon.
The reviews on tripadvisor seem to echo everything said here perfectly acceptable, but nothing airline discount coupons special. While I recognize that it s probably nothing to write home about, I d rather not burn our Chase points on hotels when we can use them for flights. So I m glad to use CC points for it.
Funny you covered this hotel. I have an upcoming reservation in few weeks using my points. I wonder airline discount coupons if they ll upgrade me with Gold status alone. Majority of Club Carlson hotels airline discount coupons dont offer upgrades if points are in play, at least with my experience.
Reviews on flyertalk seem to indicate that they used to consistently give upgrades, but not so much anymore. But if you manage to get upgraded into a room that includes breakfast, you may get that thrown in for free a perk not typically enjoyed by people with CC credit card status levels.
You guys will enjoy it just fine. I too used to live in New York and the location is central. The subway line right on the block got me everywhere I needed to go throughout the city easily. Plus, it s walking distance to Madison Square Park and lots of cool places in Flatiron, like Eataly and the outdoor market right there.
