Do T/A cruise to Amsterdam, then, slowly bedford hotel new york , via train, plane automobile, visit Europe from the top down. Then, another T/A to FLL or NY...BUY a Motorhome...Slowly drive to Oregon, visit Son...leave motor home, fly down to California and board a ship that is doing a R/T CA - Tahiti - CA. Then, fly back up to Oregon, get motor home - tool around the NW, possibly buying a boat and hang out up there where the humidity is a lot less than here.
Rick - I never knew that ships went from CA to Tahiti and back until this thread came out. The one thing that always stopped me going to Tahiti was the long flight. I don't mind flying per se, I just have trouble sitting for that length of time in a chair, and in a confined space. If I don't get up and walk a bit my hips hurt too much. So for me, this is perfect!
