New Smyrna Beach is the "Old" Florida type town. Laid back. Plenty of casual dining with great seafood restaurants. country inns by carlson Canaveral National Seashore is 7 minutes down the road where you can put in your boat for world renown country inns by carlson flats fishing-snook, trout, reds in Mosquito Lagoon. Ocean offers kayaking, surfing, sailing, sunbathing and any other ocean activity. Old Flagler Avenue has returned to life with shoppes, ice cream treats, surf shops and restaurants. You can also take your car to the North end (1 mile) of the beach and cruise country inns by carlson on the driving beach. The surfing is some of the best on the East Coast of the USA! Highway A1A south of here is still a 2 lane road which dead ends into the Canaveral National Seashore. You can bike on the flat beach or bike in Canaveral National Seashore as well. There are Indian Mounds there to see. 40 Minutes to the west is famous Blue Springs where you can swim with the Manatees or just watch them from the edge of the Spring. People return to this area year after year because of the location, affordability, and wonderful family atmosphere. Plenty of affordable golf nearby. Disney, Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom are a 1 1/2 hour drive; Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World 1 hour 15 minute drive, Daytona Beach 20 minute drive, Kennedy Space Center 45 min drive. My friends and I absolutely loved this place. It was the perfect size and the view was gorgeous. It was clean when we arrived and we were provided with pretty much everything that we needed. We loved that this was down on the no-driving country inns by carlson section of the beach because it made it so much less stress and quiet. It wasn't crowded even though we were there on Memorial Day weekend.
My family of four stayed at this condo in July of 2012. It was fantastic. The views were terrific and the condo itself was nicely furnished country inns by carlson and clean. I am so glad that we chose this place. The proximity to the park we great and since this was not one of the giant complexes, we had a lot of privacy. The pool area was nice and not too busy. The condo was well stocked and had comfortable beds. It was nice that the cable televisions had on demand. Overall, this was probably my favorite vacation and I highly recommend it.
My husband and I had a wonderful time ,it was very quiet .Got a lot of exercise climbing the stairs .lol.but we had a great time .highly recommend JBS it is a great local place to eat. We are planning to come back next year,and years to come .Thanks country inns by carlson for making our stay memorable!
