Take a walk on the Erie Canal!  As part of Path Through History Weekends and New York State Museum Week, the Erie Canal Museum will be offering our Heritage Area Walking Tour on June 8 through June 14 at scheduled times.
Join us for a guided walking tour of historic Downtown Syracuse, exploring the same path where the famous waterway once ran. The tour begins at the Erie Canal Museum, winding through Clinton and Hanover Squares before ending back at the museum. Discover how the neighborhood has changed since the days of the Erie Canal.
Tours will be offered on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9 at 11AM and 1PM and on Monday, June 10 through Friday, queen charlotte islands tours June 14 at 12PM.  The tour is about an hour long. This event is FREE for members and children 18 under.  Non-members are $5/person.  Tickets are available on here and will also be available queen charlotte islands tours at the door.
