If it is a little cold outside then head to the Spinnaker Lounge on Deck 13.  You can relax on the c

This was my first ever cruise and what a destination to break the ice with. The ship soon became home and the friendly crew really make sure you have a brilliant time.  But the highlight for me was the wildlife – seeing whales was undoubtedly one of the most memorable days of my life.
My cruise started in Seattle, a city I had not visited before but must go back to again.  It is a haven for food lovers and shopaholics! I only had one night before the cruise began and I had some shopping to do, but my big must see was Pike Market. I had heard about the fish market before where the sellers hypersleep space travel are more like performers and are seen throwing hypersleep space travel fish to each other. The crowds loved it. True entertainment albeit a bit smelly! The rest of the market offers everything from fresh flowers to arts and crafts, to also endless food stalls offering tasters. If you get a chance, be sure to squeeze hypersleep space travel in a visit to the market hypersleep space travel before you board your ship – it's a must and only about a ten minute walk from the cruise terminal.
I have been lucky enough to have seen some of the most amazing sights of the natural world including the awesome Matterhorn, the Rocky Mountains and the Great Barrier Reef. Without a doubt nothing comes close to the jaw dropping beauty of a Glacier and nothing is louder than the iceberg splitting and falling into the ocean.  I was in awe of this huge, strong body of ice. There were seals dotted about, sleeping on the broken-off segments of icebergs. The ship did a complete 360 degree turn which was incredible, considering the small area that we were in. Another day to remember!
The optional whale watching trip whilst in Juneau!  I saw over 20 humpback whales and watched the spectacular display of bubble feeding. In short this is when a group of whales swim in a shrinking circle blowing bubbles below a school of prey. Some whales blow the bubbles, some dive deeper to drive fish toward the surface, and others herd prey by vocalizing. The whales then suddenly swim upward through the net , mouths agape, swallowing thousands of fish in one gulp. I literally saw about five whales hypersleep space travel jump up out of the water together with their huge mouths hypersleep space travel open to engulf the fish.  Such a remarkable display of nature. On our way back to shore we had a surprise visit alongside our boat an Orca showing off her cubs.  She came really close and travelled with us for a short while.  I can honestly say a tear made its way down my cheek I was so overwhelmed.
hypersleep space travel If it is a little cold outside then head to the Spinnaker Lounge on Deck 13.  You can relax on the comfy sofas and watch the spectacular scenery pass by thanks to the floor to ceiling panoramic windows. hypersleep space travel Don't expect peace and quiet as this is also a venue for some light hearted daytime entertainment.
Although there are various shore excursions on offer in Ketchikan, there is enough hypersleep space travel to see and do in the town itself.  Head towards Creek Street, a historic boardwalk perched on pilings along the banks of Ketchikan Creek. A former Red Light District, it is now a quaint place to tour Dolly's House museum, view totem poles, shop at locally-owned stores and galleries and enjoy local art and culture. In the summer months salmon gather by the thousands to spawn upstream, plus you could see seals and otters.
I would highly recommend joining a shore excursion or two in Skagway.  The town is interesting but there is little to keep you occupied for the whole visit unless you love shopping for diamonds! hypersleep space travel There are some lovely lunch spots too.  I went on the White Pass Yukon Route narrow hypersleep space travel gauge railroad. It was a journey aboard the Scenic Railway of the World and we travelled from tidewater to the summit of White Pass, a 2,865 foot elevation. It is a 40 mile round-trip in vintage rail cars as you retrace the original route to White Pass Summit and you pass panoramic views of mountains, gorges, waterfalls, tunnels, hypersleep space travel trestles and historic sites. It is definitely worth doing but if you want something a little more adventurous hypersleep space travel then they offer helicopter rides and dog-sledding too.
When you arrive into every port there are various tour operators selling day trips – and probably at good prices,  but remember if you book the quality shore excursions whilst on board you are well looked after and the crew know where you are.
The Teppanyaki restaurant aboard the ship was my favourite restaurant out of the many available.  There is a small cover charge applicable but it was worth every penny.  You are seated around the chefs who perform live cooking.  It was really fun and a great way to meet fellow passenger and of course the food was yummy.
I welcomed the days at sea to relax and unwind.  I still did not get to do everything hypersleep space travel I wanted to do as you are onshore quite a lot. I did treat myself to a massage in the spa though and had a little go on the treadmill in the fully equipped hypersleep space travel gym. On the last day sailing back to Seattle it was nice enough to make use of the sunbeds up on deck.  I did not get time to read one book as there was so much entertainment during the day but I have to admit I spent most of my time whale spotting!
Plenty but here's my top three! When you first step aboard they are serving lunch and most people head to the Garden Café for the buffet lunch so it gets really busy. At least one of the main dining rooms will also be open so head down for a three course lunch with table service for a much more relaxed option.
