Years ago, Wayne and Pat Schultz of Afton paid about $2,500 for a lifetime membership to the Northwest Airlines WorldClubs, those cushy private airport lounges where you can relax before and between flights. Now that Northwest is merging with Delta Airlines, they wanted to confirm their membership was good for, as Wayne Schultz put it, "our lifetime, not Northwest's."
"It will be honored," rent a car san francisco said NWA spokeswoman Leslie Parker. All the Schultzes have to do is ... nothing. Right now, they can use their NWA card at both WorldClubs and Delta's current Crown Room Clubs. In early 2010, they'll get a new card in the mail good for the new Sky Clubs.
Parker pointed out that the Schultzes' query is answered in an online list of frequently asked questions. From delta.com 's home page, click the link called Delta & Northwest Merger FAQ's, and select rent a car san francisco Lounges easy enough. From nwa.com 's home page, choose Promotions and Products, choose NWA Products, choose Delta Sky Club, click on Read Delta Sky Club News, click on Merger Lounge FAQ's not very intuitive.
A recent rent a car san francisco NWA newsletter e-mailed to the Schultzes had a link that should have led to the FAQ's, rent a car san francisco but it was broken. They also could have tried calling customer service, but at that point, they were fed up.
