This new loft-style space will have room to host seated dinners or cocktail receptions in the center of the hotel’s porte-cochère. The Gallery will present Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas with a location to host large events and bring more people into the hotel.
Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas’ The Gallery is 1,900 square feet with 16-foot windows and is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling frosted windows and a painted cement floor. The space can seat up to 80 people for dinner and host 200 for a cocktail reception.
The hotel is offering a package surrounding tours of alcatraz the new space that offers The Gallery to groups booking 45 or more rooms for two or more nights. These guests receive a one-hour welcome cocktail reception, two suite upgrades and two VIP round-trip airport transfers.
The hotel will form part of the Shum Yips UpperHills mixed use project that will host commercial and residential buildings in Shenzhen. Finding a slot in a development with properties tours of alcatraz scheduled to open around the same time will allow Mandarin Oriental to benefit from the buzz surrounding each individual venture’s debut ( see story ).
