If you let me know which hotel you are staying at I can tell you which station to get off at but it

How long is your trip for, and do you expect to need a car while you're in Ft Lauderdale? A car hire may make the most sense but you haven't given enough information car rental dublin airport about your trip for me to be certain.
car rental dublin airport In Fort Lauderdale for a week .... but the hotel charges $30 a night for valet parking ... no option. I think the parking chargeswill car rental dublin airport double the rental charge. Really we do not need a car so another option is preferable.
the cheapest way to get there is to use the TriRail ( www.tri-rail.com for timetable). as you come out of the airport you need to cross the road and head for the building directly opposite you, there you will find shuttles that will take you to the station free of charge.
If you let me know which hotel you are staying at I can tell you which station to get off at but it will either be Hollywood or Broward Boulevard (probably the latter), then you will probably have to take a cab to the hotel or if you phone them in advance they may have a shuttle that will come and pick you up from the TriRail station.

Are you sure you don't need a car? Unless you intend to spend all of your time in your hotel or within a few hundred yards of it you *will* need a car or you will end up spending a lot of money on taxis.
DH and I got married in Miami Beach. Our hotel there had a nightly charge for valet parking too, but we inquired further and discovered that there was a parking garage car rental dublin airport two blocks away where we could keep our car for a much lower price. Maybe that will be an option in your area?
Tri-rail option: Take the free Tri-rail car rental dublin airport shuttle (go to the County bus stop to the left outside arrivals) Wait for the white Tri-rail mini-bus shuttle. Take it to Tri-rail station. (about 10 min) Buy ticket (about $6.00). to the southern terminus: Miami Airport Station (about 30 min) There another shuttle bus will take you to the MIA terminal.
Tri-Rail is a commuter line that runs every half hour at rush hours; every hour during mid-day; every two hours on weekends and not at all from about 10:00 PM to 5:00 am. So if your timing car rental dublin airport is right this works. Go to www.Tri-rail.com
car rental dublin airport If the timing is not right, Go Airport Transfer is the shared ride van service at FLL. Look for the dispatcher with the lettering on his shirt outside arrivals. You may have to wait up to 1/2 hour. The ride itself will be about 45 min. Last I looked the fare to MIA was $20.00.
