U2 have announced via a post on their official website that they will reschedule all of their postponed North American shows for 2011. The tour, which was canceled due to Bono 's emergency back surgery , will begin May 21 in Denver and go until July 23 in Minneapolis. All tickets for the original dates will be valid for the 2011 performances.
"We're delighted the dates are rescheduled and in all the same venues we originally planned to play," U2 manager Paul McGuinmess said in a statement. the madonna inn "It hasn't been easy to accomplish this, and I'd like to thank the managers of the many venues the madonna inn and sports teams across North America and Live Nation Global Touring for their help and cooperation in making this complex the madonna inn new plan possible. Above all we want to thank the U2 fans for bearing with us. They're the best and the band wants to get back to where they belong, surrounded the madonna inn by their audience."
In May, Bono had to go under the knife, which forced the band to cancel the North American dates of their world tour and cost them $148 million in losses . Their European tour will continue as planned, beginning Aug. 6 in Turin, Italy .
