The man who shot a Jacksonville teenager in a dispute over loud music complains about the black people he’s in jail with, writes derisively about 17-year-old Jordan Davis and his father and says he’ll get acquitted unless the jury is stacked with black people, jail letters alabama free travel brochures from Michael David Dunn show.
The letters, obtained from the State Attorney’s Office as public records, had the recipients’ names blacked out. But the indications are they were to his girlfriend, parents, a grandmother, a daughter and several friends.
Dunn, 46, has been locked up since Nov. 24, 2012, charged with the first-degree murder of Jordan Davis and the attempted murder of the other three teenagers who were in the vehicle alabama free travel brochures he opened fire on but were not hurt.
Dunn is white; Davis was black, as are his friends. They were in a Dodge Durango on Nov. 23 when Dunn and girlfriend Rhonda Rouer pulled up next to them in a Volkswagen Jetta to buy wine at a Southside Boulevard Gate convenience store.
According to police and court records, Rouer said Dunn complained he hated “that thug music” coming from their SUV before she went into the store, leaving alabama free travel brochures him alone in the car. Dunn asked the teenagers to turn down the music. The teen in the front seat complied. Davis, who was sitting in the right rear passenger seat, then told his friend to turn the music back up.
Davis and Dunn then began arguing while both were still in their vehicles, with Davis cursing at Dunn. A witness who had just walked out of the store told police Dunn pointed a handgun out the window and said, “You are not going to talk to me like that” before he began firing at the Durango and continued to fire as the vehicle attempted to leave the parking lot.
The Durango went from the Gate into an adjacent parking lot, but then stopped and came back. Dunn later told police he saw a gun in the car and that the teenagers were advancing on him. But police never found a weapon.
In his letters Dunn says he is either a political prisoner or a victim of reverse racism like George Zimmerman, who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin and was acquitted in July by arguing self-defense.
“The whites who live in Jacksonville know how the blacks behave, and the blacks want to protect their own,” Dunn said in a letter to his grandmother. “And of course, daddy of the thug I had to defend myself against raised and immaculent [sic] child who could do no wrong.”
In one letter Dunn says he wants to move out of Florida after he’s acquitted because he doesn’t want to live in a state that sucks up to special-interest groups at his expense. But he’s going to go out of his way to expose “them.”
“If this thing holds water, we’ll win a self-defense hearing and not have to go through the ordeal of a trial,” Dunn said. “I’m going to find a slimy civil law lawyer and sue this county for the reverse discrimination. Let’s see them televise that.”

First let look at some things, Mr. Dunn had a permit for his weapon and the 3 black guys I bet had a gun and I bet dimes to donuts they all had criminal records, it's logical why did the 3 blacks run ? why did they not just call 911 I tell you why they had a gun and drugs as well I bet.
Mr. Dunn must have an inept trial counsel representing that's just selling him out for return favors from A. Corey, the burden of proof is on the state and Mr. Dunn's attorney I bet has not filed any motions or investigated crap I don't even have to check the docket.
Mr. Dunn is correct in saying the jail staff let the blacks which are all animals that just stay in and out of prison the jail staff let the blacks intimidate the whites which are the minority just to put pressure to make them break and plea to anything, people are sick of this bull and I for one am going to look into this.
