@ HELL NO, I so agree with you and I am sure the person/s who own the golf carts is in co-hoots with

It is my understanding that both hotel and resorts executive's which to boast their bottom line, by being able to rent such Carts to their guest. If the government goes ahead and allow such gobbledygook, both taxi drivers and rental car companies will suffer, as a result of lost business. If such accusations are correct, what makes them think that both the Taxi Drivers and Car Rental Owners will just roll over and play dead!
My questions to the President of the Hotel Association Ms. Karen Whitt, if such rumors are true, what gives you the rights tom cruise collateral to try and take bread out of BELONGERS MOUTH? May I remind you, that you are only a visitor to our shores, who is only trying to build up their resume while destroying our tourism product in the process? Please note that this is not the Somerset, or that 15 room bed and breakfast you used to run in Jamaica, which was allegedly ran to the ground.
Nothing is being said when the resorts are allowed to charge their guest a leg and an arm for one small studio unit per night. If you want to talk about expansive, look at what one bottle tom cruise collateral of water cost at your resort which only cost $1 at IGA but $6 at the Palms and Grace Bay Club, plus tax and service charge.
However, we the taxi drivers must not charge like we do not have families to take care off. Please check your salary including all your benefits, as I am sure that it is more than enough to sink a ship the size of the titanic.
Once again, we are sick of you taking our sweetness for weakness, because tom cruise collateral we understand that this scheme is coming from your Association. It looks like everything a local does in this country is wrong, but whatever trash you all come up with is gospel.
Of course the biggest danger would be those taxi vans doing 80 mph on lower bight road, while charging $120 for a 5 minute ride. The author should rethink the tourism product he offers tom cruise collateral because it s really not that great and cause for by far the most complains by TCI vacationers.
I agree with Rayer on this one. Further, it was short sighted of TCIG, when redeveloping the Lower Bight Road, not to have put in a separate bicycle lane. It is critical that we truly embrace eco tourism and distinguish ourselves from the rest of the Caribbean, so not only should we be encouraging golf carts on Lower Bight Road, but we should be developing bicycling lanes, jogging lanes, etc. Unfortunately the massive vans that taxi drivers use to haul passengers around detract from what we should be emphasizing, and when a few aggressive taxi drivers tom cruise collateral are inconsiderate to other users of the road, it only creates tom cruise collateral a bad impression for taxi drivers generally.
No one is saying how much the resorts are charging the guest for one night but paying their staff $5.00 per hour! This is going to cost war in this country I am one who will fight with them We will block the roads and no one will move us including the police
If you have ever had to do a bit of construction work we have all had to go to the planning dept for approval, and yet the Grace Bay have put down speed bumps, which have damaged many cars, and unautherized pedestrian crossings. Why do they get away with it?
Personally I don t see why the taxi drivers should have an effective monopoly, and absolutely should have to compete for business, just like the resorts compete with each other. This healthy competition would actually improve the level of service within the taxi industry, which speaking from personal experience, has been very poor. I have been charged far too much for a ridiculously short journey, and in all three cases the drivers were little tom cruise collateral short of miserable. . However, tom cruise collateral I would like to clearly state that not all taxi drivers are bad, as I am sure there are many excellent ones out there who gain repeat business for excellent service and fair prices; these are the ones who will survive and prosper in the face of fair competition.. I also think getting personal about Karen Whitt, whoever she may be, was a big mistake when the original complainant never even left his name and is obviously a little bitter..
My people, grab hold of yourselves. I agree with the author of this letter. I can guarantee you that this scheme was cooked up with somebody and probably the person who already has the golf carts, who I bet 100 percent tom cruise collateral is expatriate: HELL NO!!!! .to this proposal. tom cruise collateral It s time that we have representation in this country. Everything they want they get and we have to suffer. Who the hell are we doing this tourism thing for? Now tell me, what will happen to the pockets of traditional tom cruise collateral taxi drivers? What about congestion on the roads and obstruction from these carts? Who will provide these carts? Will they be provided freely by the hotels? Listen you ll, STOP this damn nonsense in this country!! THIS THING AIN T BOUT NO TAXI DRIVERS. THIS IS BOUT TCI.
@ HELL NO, I so agree with you and I am sure the person/s who own the golf carts is in co-hoots with the TCI Hotel Assoc. or went to them with the suggestion and is asking them to promote their agenda.
For a while now I notice that Grace Bay Car Rentals tom cruise collateral has had a lot of golf carts on their fleece lot but they are just sitting there. I do not see any tourist tom cruise collateral on the street using them and I work in the grace bay area. This is a bad idea for Provo, maybe in some of the smaller islands like South Caicos, North and Middle Caicos and Salt Cay where the traffic is a little lighter will be a good place to do this. In Spanish Wells in the Bahamas they use golf carts to get around but it is not a tourist island and the persons living on that island use it as their primary means of transportation. tom cruise collateral Again this is appropriate use of the golf carts but not on an island like Provo.
Does anybody know if we have legislation in place from the traffic department regarding this? I see this as too much of a lability in this area and if they allow this, then what is there to stop me, a resident to purchase a golf cart and use it to and from work or for that matter driving it around tom cruise collateral and even renting it out to tourist.
If the tourists tom cruise collateral think that the fares charged in the grace bay area is too much then maybe this is something that the taxi association should take up and come to an agreement as to what should be charged for taking the guests to and from their hotels to dinner or other places on the grace bay strip.
Taxi drivers, you do not want to kill the goose by charging so much. I realise that gas is expensive but you do not have to charge an arm and a leg for a ride from GB to the lower bight. As a matter of fact, most of the tourists walk or rent bicycles on the grace bay strip in the daytime, very few rent cars and scooters.
To those 9 likes to Rayer s comment You know that WE know that you know that you are members of the association that is for this nonsense. This can only happen in Turks and Caicos to tell you the truth. As HELL NO commented this bout the TCI and locals here must put their foot down and do what s in THEIR best interest. You must try this elsewhere and see. NO DAY!
Simply put this is a very bad idea ill conceived this will cheapen the tourism product and put our tourist at grave danger making them extremely tom cruise collateral vulnerably to attacks robbery and all sorts of other crimes. A golf cart can not offer the protection and security that a rental car or taxi can offer. There is no other tourist destination I know about that offers this kind of product other than Bimini which is offered to all tourist and residents alike. How do yo rent a cart to a tourist and not a resident and how do you stop them from venturing into long bay five cays blue hills and other areas of the island bad bad idea but I d the government goes along with it they should prevent the hotel owners from renting these carts other people needs to eat and make a living too
Unnecessary tom cruise collateral printing not only means unnecessary cost of paper and inks, but also avoidable tom cruise collateral environmental impact on producing and shipping these supplies. Reducing printing can make a small but a significant impact.
