Orange County beaches are world-famous. But with miles of coastline too many beaches to count that s no surprise. And while you probably already have a favorite beach, if you re looking for something new, or feeling adventurous check out Coleen s favorite Strand Beach in Dana Point (aka Strands).
Strands is one of my favorite beaches in all of Orange County.  Although I have to warn you this beach isn t for the faint of heart, because to get to Strands canadian bus tour companies you either have a trek down a hill or steps, or wait for the elevator (funicular).

The narrow but wide beach is ideal for sand castle building, plus there are restrooms, showers drinking fountains located on the beach in the parking lot. Did I mention that the parking is FREE?!
