We still need to book the resort for the first 5 nights. For the second 5 nights, we will be staying in a 2BR lake view at BLT I have debated endlessly about whether to stay offsite or on for the first leg of the trip. Now we are less than 6 months out, and I really holiday inn express seattle need to book something I know there are some valid reasons for staying offsite, but I just can't bring myself to do it! We haven't stayed offsite in nearly holiday inn express seattle 20 years, and we have never stayed offsite with our children. We just prefer the Disney theming and being in the middle of the magic.
I was browsing the WDW site, and saw a decent rate for Beach Club. We have never stayed there, and we love the idea of walking to Epcot. There would be 2 queen beds and a day bed. It is me, DH, DS(14), DD(14), and DS(5). Wil we be comfortable in this room? What about Poly? Are the room sizes equivalent? We usually stay on DVC points, but will not pay OOP for DVC accommodations because too expensive. We have APs, so I would book now with a AAA discount and switch to AP rate (or other promo rate) if the AP rate is not available yet.

BC might be a good choice for you. It will give you some time in the Epcot area in a nice resort with a fun pool. And since you are already doing part of your trip near MK, I'd definitely be looking at BC, YC, or BWI.
As Hidden Mickey says Poly CR have the largest rooms. At Poly the newer longhouses have larger rooms then the older longhouses. We had a GV room in Tokelau, and loved it. Bonus with that longhouse ( Tahiti) is all floors have balconies. The older longhouses lack balconies holiday inn express seattle on 2nd floor. Poly is in the middle of refurbs now, so there's a good chance of you getting a new room in 6mos.
If you are already staying at BLT for the second half of your trip, you may want something a little different for the first part. The Beach Club sounds like a nice opportunity to stay in the Epcot area.
The rooms are a little smaller than those at the Contemporary or the Polynesian, but each family has a different comfort level. Your boys could share the big bed, and your daughter could have the daybed. I haven't stayed at the Beach Club, so I don't have any experience with their daybeds, but my girls were very comfy on the ones at the CR and the Poly.

Thanks for the responses I think we have it narrowed holiday inn express seattle down to Beach Club or Poly. It's a tough choice as Poly is our favorite resort holiday inn express seattle and we haven't stayed there in years, since we joined DVC. Yet we have never stayed at Beach Club so that would be fun also, and so convenient to Epcot. . .
