We had a family reunion at Lil Bear ! We had the most wonderful time ! My brother and his wife and daughter came from Tallahasse , FL,. My sister, myself and my son came from Maryville, TN. The cabin was everything as described and more. The first night (Wed. 12-26) we came there were snow flurries. We enjoyed the fireplace ! We went hiking on Thursday and on Friday we went to Chattanooga. It was raining on Friday and by the time we got home it was freezing rain. Then it turned to snow. We enjoyed the fireplace again !!! We decided to stay in all day Sat. because we were afraid the roads were bad. The snow added so much to our stay. It was fun seeing the kids in the hot tub in the snow ! We watched movies all day and enjoyed the view. Our last day was Sunday and we woke up to the sun shine (first time our whole stay) ! We hated to leave ! We had a little trouble getting blue book 5th wheel travel trailer out of Laurel Lake Rd. ( icy road) but we found out how helpful the people of Mount Eagle are ! Thanks to all that helped us that day ! What a great adventure we had- I am sure we will be back !!!

We were looking for a peaceful weekend getaway and we found it and so much more here at Lil' Bear. This quaint cabin is well stocked and had everything we needed for the weekend. Its out just far enough to keep the place serene, and close enough to town that a trip to the grocery store isn't an all day event. We loved it so much we are already planning a second trip. The owners are delightful to deal with and the place was immaculate. I am not easily impressed, but when I stepped out onto the porch and looked across the valley, blue book 5th wheel travel trailer the view literally took my breath away.

Simply put this cabin was amazing, cozy, warm and inviting and all the things you would expect for a vacation get away! My family and I stayed in the cabin through blue book 5th wheel travel trailer our Christmas vacation and could not have asked for a more beautiful back drop. In June two couples ,my husband and I went to a friends wedding in Swanee ,Tn. and stayed at The Lil' Bear Log Cabin. We could not have been any happier with our accommodations.For the price I was alittle worried it was too good to be true but the pictures looked nice.Well when we arrived ,it was all true and it was much better than we expected . The cabin was as cute as cute could be and had everything we needed.The view...oh words can not do the view justice, it was unbelievable.And when we thought it couldn't blue book 5th wheel travel trailer get any better, there was a hot tub on the back deck overlooking the mountain.We had a wonderful time in Swanee,a very small town with lots to do and see. I thought Renee' was very nice and helpful with the arrangements ,and when we got there the entire town is just as nice and helpful.Great Great trip. I would highly recommend Lil Bear Cabin to friends and told everybody who would listen to me in Swanee if they had friends coming to town tell them to stay at Lil Bear Cabin.
I'm not good at just sitting around. My vacations are usually so hectic that I need a vacation from my vacation. This trip was everything we hoped for and more! It had been 15 years since the last time the 5 of us lifelong best friends had been in the same place at the same time. Our trip to Lil Bear was definitely the perfect spot for us to unwind, laugh, talk, reminisce, cry, laugh some more and make wonderful memories together! The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed and a few things we didn't realize we needed. The owners have put alot of thought and heart into providing a fantastic, cozy retreat for their guests! Oh, and the view and surrounding areas were breathtaking!!! We will definitely make many return trips to Lil Bear Cabin in the future!
